Life Drawing

In addition to the many art activities that focused on the creative expression of our inner lives and emotions,  we also enjoyed a dynamic life drawing week.  The heart of the session was to develop artistic skills such as proportion and gesture. We used photographs of models, and timed intervals, to replicate the life drawing class, as Covid restrictions would, obviously, stop us being able to take part in a live session!

Tiagan: I did better than I thought I would
Carole H: This week was really challenging but I loved it! It was great to be able to give it a go without worrying what others think. Very liberating!
Christine
Rachel: I especially love looking at how we each interpret art differently. Great pictures today. I was really nervous but so glad I had a go now.
Debbie: I was not looking forward to life drawing but I really enjoyed doing these. I enjoyed learning the new techniques, and the group was so supportive which gives me confidence.
Eileen: I'm quite chuffed with this.
Kiz: I really enjoyed doing this. It's hard but fascinating. I also get totally absorbed, which is great for Miss Flibberty Gibbet.
